After completing a number of Ironman Events (full distance and 70.3) and being disappointed with my results I realised that I needed some help. I was also recovering from an injury that left me unable to train for 3 months and the name of Fran Delgado was highlighted in several conversations I had with friends so I decided to give him a call. I realised right from the start that Fran was a professional and his positive attitude really helped me focus. It was the whole package, coaching, training plan, dietary advice and nutrition. I decided to participate in the Bahrain Challenge Triathlon (70.3) and we used that as our first target and had 4 months to train. At first I kept telling Fran that I felt I wasn't doing enough and he kept telling me to be patient. My previous best was 6 hrs 3 Mins. With the advice, motivation and training plan provided by Fran I completed Bahrain in 5 hrs 4 mins!! knocking 59 minutes off my best. I've got to admit it's a flat fast course (Unlike Lanzarote and South Africa!) and I was aiming for sub 5:45 and if things went extremely well possibly 5:30! I felt strong all through the event and at times felt the need to go faster however Fran was on my shoulder all the way telling me to 'Keep to the Plan' and I was completely amazed at the result.

After a couple of weeks of rest we are now onto the next phase of training including the Swiss Half Ironman event in preparation for my ultimate goal of completing Ironman UK in under 12 Hours (3rd Time Lucky?) I would highly recommend Fran Delgado not just for people who want to improve their timings or participate in an event but also for those who want to lose weight and lead a healthier lifestyle. Thanks Fran and I look forward to training together during 2015!
